Bedbugs are nocturnal pests that feed on human blood. They hide in mattresses, bed frames and furniture, making them difficult to eliminate.
What to expect from a Bedbug Treatment
Your technician will carry out a thorough visual inspection. Please be aware that bedbug treatment can be very intrusive, with your technician needing to inspect and monitor in, under and around your bed and inside surrounding cupboards and drawers. Once evidence of bedbugs has been obtained, treatment can commence. Treated areas will need to remain vacant for 4 hours. Bedbug monitors will be put in place after the first treatment and revisited 7 - 14 days later. At least 3 treatments will be necessary to break the life cycle and ensure eradication

Bed bug spray treatments require repeat visits because eggs and hidden harbourages make one-off treatments less effective with a high risk of reinfestation once the next generation of eggs hatch.
At Rat King Pest Control, our pricing structure includes 3 treatments and follow ups as standard to ensure the life cycle is broken. Full efficacy, however, is dependent on pre treatment and housekeeping recommendations (such as washing bedding on a high heat) being carried out to avoid hidden eggs resulting in reinfestation down the line.
